Whats all this crap about phones selling for thousands of pounds on eBay which have flappy birds installed? I know the game is no longer available on the iPhone but anyone with an ounce of sense will know you can download the game from a website and install the game to a phone via iTunes.

I read about the hype surrounding this game after reading that it was released unofficially for Windows Phones. I installed it on my Nexus 7 and within 3 minutes had deleted it. What a pile of shit.

It reminds me of an old 8-bit game. Simple, hard as fuck and none of this save/continue/extra life bollocks. Really like it.

High score is 68, it easy once you get used to the method. I just lose concentration after a while as it is very tedious.

I don't think anyone said it wasn't a good money spinner but is a very basic concept that went viral, would be loverly to come up with something like this and make £500 a day ;-)

I think it's shit but well done to him for making some money out of it. The auctions are fakes, will be set up to create frenzy then a legit auction will be listed for less than those sell for (but a huge markup on the devices true value) and some mug will buy it. Also when this stuff goes viral (this is the third site I have seen it on today) some people will bid it up for lulz.

No App Store apps are DRM free, even the free ones. They are all tied to your Apple ID.

There was a Nintendo statement saying they weren't bothered, plus people thought that his withdrawal of the app was something to do with Vietnamese laws which say that products produced there have to be sold via a local company (IE not American Apple) but that was proved to not be the case either.
