Just been looking up BF4 and notice that Game have it listed for 360 at £44.99 but the title is "Battlefield 4 with Premium Expansion Pack". Does this mean there will be a cheaper one without the preimum pack? Or is this just the China Rising expansion that you get for free with it?

All too confusing. Games companies need to sort their shit out.

I notice in store Game have been pushing the release prices up with many games listed at £42.99 and £44.99 but in the case you mention I would expect the *Premium Expansion Pack* to be the standard release and agree this shit needs to be stopped.

When BF3 came out, I had the limited edition version and got the Back To Karkland maps free. My nephew bought his a few days later and didn't get the map pack. It was the same price as mine too. I remember some confusion when it came out too, as the B2K maps were meant for those who pre-ordered the game. Some retailers were selling the B2K version to those who didn't pre-order while other retailers wouldn't sell that version, only to those who pre-ordered

Anyway someone asked the question on the EA forums. They responded with this:

Hi there!

If you pre-order Battlefield 4 today, you will receive one expansion pack. You will be able to download the expansion pack when it become available.

This offer is a similar offer as Back to Karkand for Battlefield 3, if you bought the Limited Edition version.

I just got BF4 pre-ordered with the expansion pack for £33 on Amazon - PC Platform. Don't see how they can justify charging the price they do for console versions.

But if you buy the premium dlc pack you will get all DLC anyway
