Help Wall mounting bracket for TV

    Guys

Any advice on one of these? Got a 37" Samsung A558 I want to mount in the corner of a room in an alcove. Needs to be on an articulated arm so I can move it out of the way to get at the amp below it. Any recommendations? Needs to be forward compatible with new tellies as I was going to get a 40" one with a smaller bezel in the future.

    Thanks in advance.

I bought one of these last year for my Series 8 Samsung: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I paid about £35 all in, they appear to be a bit cheaper now. Mine is also in a corner and it works very well for me to move it out of the way so I can get to stuff behind it/plug things in.

*EDIT* Scrap the additional bit I put on, this is fine upto 60"

Dont pay a fucking fortune for one, Myself and a mate bought the same telly at roughly the same time and he went to some dedicated online store and paid triple what I paid from Amazon and his didnt come with any screws either. Tellys are like monitors and have a set of standard mounting hole sizes, and every bracket I have seen has catered for all the options. You can get ones that swing out to almost any angle so your arrangement shouldnt be an issue.

Since you have a LCD, you shouldn't have any big problems as they aren't very heavy, I had a plasma at the time and it weighed a fucking ton. few blobs of bluetac and you should be fine, especially with a screen SO SMALL.

Hahaha, when I had a 43" Pioneer I put a bracket up and some 'No More Nails' for the added feeling of security.
When it came to selling it, I took the bolts out and the bracket was still stuck to the wall with the no more nails. I literally tapped the bracket and the thing fell onto my foot bringing half the plaster down with it.

So, just be careful with that Bluetack

If you are getting a cantilever bracket then don't go for the cheapest we bought some cheapo 1 and even tho the bracket was true on the wall when you added the weight of the TV the arm sagged under the weight and TV was then not straight, so ended up buying a beefier one which is a lot better ;-)

Don't know what bluetac you're using but the stuff I've used in the past I wouldn't trust it to stick a mobile phone to the wall let alone a TV. (">

Mine only cost £15ish off eBay delivered about a year ago.
It's holding my 42" Toshiba in the bedroom at the foot of the bed, attached to a plaster board wall - using the stud underneath and can almost be put up to a 90 degree angle with the wall.
Did use 4 inch screws to attach it though!

When it's not in use it lays quite flat against the wall.

Be sure to put it on as straight as possible (I did with mine) but when completely flat to the wall, it's pissed as a fart.
But it's generally off the wall adjusted straight most of the time.

The TV is by no means light either!

    Thanks to DejaVu

Bang on DejaVu. Cheapest solid looking one I have found is around 50 quid so far.

For normal walls I use these: http://www.homebase.co.uk/webapp/wcs...tNumber=883128
For Plasterboard walls they do a crimping tool and metal plugs.

Both work fantastic, never had an issue with TV's, Radiators, Mirrors (heavy) etc..
