Default New PC required for a little gaming (rFactor 2)

I'm looking at getting a PC for the family as we've only got a Revo at the moment and wanted a proper desktop PC. I was looking at a Dell with a 4th Generation Intel® Core™ i5-4430 processor (6M Cache, up to 3.2 GHz), 8GB RAM and a AMD Radeon HD 7570 1GB Graphics Card.

My only requirement from a gaming point of view is that it plays rFactor 2 and LFS quite well. I installed rFactor 2 on my i5 laptop with 8GB RAM and on board graphics and the graphics were terrible, i was getting 10 FPS.

Will the dell be OK for what I need with that card or do I need to spend more? I don't really want to build my own system etc and just want to get it delivered and turn it on and away I go.

Any advice from my fellow DF'ers?

Cheers for that. I normally prefer Intel processors but can't justify why. More reading required

After messing with hardware for about 20 years I now will only touch Intel...
Yes a little more expensive but AMD run much, much hotter require more (usually noisier) cooling and in my experience as a result can either cause other components to fail due to overheating them...
You still get years out of em, but I have seen plenty of 15 - 20 year old PCs still running fine not one of em has been AMD

I used to use em due to cost but have realized in my case not worth the hassle

    Just me 2p

    P.S

Just bought a PC for someone... got a Zoostorm Core i7 3.2 Ghz, 16GB Ram, 2 TB HDD, Decentish Graphics card for gaming and was £599 which I thought was bloody good... (no monitor)

You never mentioned your budget. Meshcomputers.com are good because they let build a custom pc and they build it. 3years warranty, uk based, been around for donkeys years.

as for the spec... Yeah I agree. You would be mad to go with anything other than intel. Anything with an i5 and 8gb will do you fine.... Plus add in a SSD for the os drive. However it's all about the graphics card... Spend on the best you can afford!

one thing to watch out for if you do go dell is the psu. Graphic cards need major juice 500w (min) psu is needed

    Thanks to MsDG

Budget is £600 tops, prefer £550 really, its a family PC first but i'll want to play some car sims on it every now and again. No interest in FPS etc. The Dell XPS i'd seen with the 4th gen i5 was £579 but had a shite graphics card.

Good point about the power supply, guess if I ever wanted to upgrade to a better card in a few years time that could be an issue and def worth checking.
