Slightly off topic but i've been to Aldi this morning for their cycling special on clothing. The socks and bib outfit are excellent albeit if i was told i looked like borat or someone out of the village people. LOL.

I swear by bib shorts now mate I bought two decent ones and rotate then in the wash. Off to our local Aldi in a bit to have a peek. Their crane gear has always been tremendous value

Planned 25 this afternoon but a puncture caused me to run out of time and have to head back by the shortest route, so managed 16 miles.

Another family disaster saw me off the bike again for a few days. Managed a ride tonight tho 21 miles. Really hard work for the first 6 miles and never really recovered but still very enjoyable.

Crashed half way round this morning's 20 miles.. time for the gatorskins to go away and buy some proper winter tyres.

Straight road, flat road. Back wheel just went in the greasy mud. Couldn't do anything about it. Grazes a plenty but nothing too bad...

Tough going today for this 21 miles. The legs took ages to warm up plus a headwind for most of the first 11 miles. Hard work but good fun.

Another wicked headwind for the first half today and my average was down to a lowly 13mph at one point !

A tale of two rides... went out without a light and got caught out by the time so had to go back for it (hence the smaller of the two loops) plus a wicked headwind from the south. The last 3 or 4 miles were fliers tho...
