Mine was delivered by USPS, might want to check yours is USPS and not UPS
The record function doesn't work, it's disabled and I'm not sure if that's a firmware thing or the subscription provider, time shift does work however (pause live TV).

If anyone is looking at Futubox as a sky replacement then be aware they seem to take the service down for "updates" quite often, it's seems to be once a week at the moment.

    Thanks to beerman

Yes, frustratingly learnt the same! Don't think its there yet in terms of being a suitable alternative to traditional services. If anyone has any other well priced subs, I would love to hear about them!

You got a link? I'm looking at their facebook and they have no mention of the remaining JSC channels, last post was 2 days ago. Also just checked my box after reloading the portal and still only showing 1-4.

The post that shows they added the channels was late July. One of the next posts was 1st August which says JSC 1-4 only.
Long and short of it is they still don't have 5-10 or the HD channels.

No, since I had the service they've added more channels. I never saw the JSC 5-10 channels.

Go to setup --> servers --> add the portal address as portal 1 (or server 1, I can't remember the option).
Give Futubox your MAC address and Robert's your father's brother.

If you bought it direct from FB the box should already be set up.

The instructions below are what you need to set up the box. You then need to give them the MAC and activation code you were given. Can't answer really as my box was already activated when I got it.

For access to our portal your need simple setup STB.

Please remove power jack. Press on IRRemote "menu" and restore power jack.
You can see BIOS of STB.
Select in this video resolution and connection type, supported your TV.
    Then reboot STB

    "to enter Service Menu
Press SERVICE button on your remote control "

If you see this, press SETUP button on remote control (symbol as GEAR on second line buttons)
After then you can see inner portal.
    Press SETUP button again.
    Choose "Network" item
    - Wired (Ethernet)
    - Auto (DHCP), manual DNS
    enter this address
    - 8.8.8.8
    OK

    Choose "Servers" item
In field named "Portal 1 URL" type
    stb.futubox.to

In field named "NTP server" type
    pool.ntp.org

    Then press OK.
    Then press Reboot menu.

    Thanks to beerman
