PROOF OF CONCEPT How to get Netflix and SkyGo working on the Now TV box? Moved

I've had my NowTV since just before Christmas and been messing around with the Netflix plugin and having the same reported issues. "Content Unavailable". "An error occurred while trying to load this content, make sure the server is running". I'm logged into both media streamer on the laptop and also the NowTV box. Plays movies from the laptop perfectly so confident the network is fine. I'm chuffed to bits with the fact that I can stream downloads however really want Netflix to work. A colleague reminded me today though you can't unlock full US content via the NowTV anyway so it's always going to be limited Vs plugging in my laptop and using Hola. Has anyone had any more luck?

Netflix needs Silverlight to play at the moment on all but Windows 8.1 & IE11.

I did read of someone who took the firmware from a Roku LT and flashed it onto a NowTV directly via a hardware flasher, but not sure what happens with the hardware DRM side of things that Netflix requires.

You're probably better off picking up a cheap Roku LT - we got one for the birds dad at Xmas for 30 quid from Amazon

Got my NowTV today and installed Plex, so all is good. Nice bit of kit to be honest. Shame we don't have a Micro SD Card option for downloading content from the on demand services rather than just streaming it.
