Have you considered a mini PC such as a NUC or a ZOTAC Zbox which would be ideal also as a media PC but also team up as a low end gaming rig?

Based on the fact that the OP was over 3 months ago and he hasn't replied since i'm guessing he's sorted it now.
Would be interested to see what he bought though.
Specs for my PC:
Bear in mind that this is a custom build and is only really mid-range but can handle 80-90% of games out there.
CPU: AMD Athlon II x4 630 2.8GHz
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-MA770 UD3
GPU: ATI Radeon HD 6770 2GB
RAM: 6GB (although only used with a x64 OS)
PSU: 700W Thermaltake
All encased in an Xclio multi fan casing
Most demanding game I have (in terms of manufacturer recommended specs) is Need For Speed Rivals, although a good benchmark (if memory serves) is Crysis. If you can run Crysis at Ultra settings and get a good FPS...you're laughing
I bought all the above for less than £300 about 4 years ago (GPU upgraded last month) and it's still going strong
