sounds obvious but have you tried uninstalling and then re-installing it, chrome can get a bit flaky after a while

    OR

try disabling all addons within Chrome
You know he grew up as a little shitspark from the old shitflint and then he turned into a shitbonfire and driven by the winds of his monumental ignorance he turned into a raging shitfirestorm. If I get to be married to Barb I'll have total control of Sunnyvale and then I can unleash the shitnami tidal wave that will engulf Ricky and extinguish his shitflames forever. And with any luck he'll drown in the undershit of that wave. Shitwaves.

Can you open task manager and look at how much memory Chrome is taking up when loading these pages? For it to make your PC unresponsive it must be using a lot of resources (or something else is).

I had a nasty problem a few months back with Chrome. It would crash or tell me the page wasn't available on loads of really popular websites, although Google always worked.

Took a while to realise they released a shit version that was unable to update itself correctly (Google updates itself in the background usually) and was buggy as hell - and the worst part was I had downloaded that version as a Standalone installer and was installing it to my machine every single time (like a tit!)

I re-downloaded the newer version they released (a day later) after realising after a couple of weeks and everything was golden again.

    Thanks to DejaVu
