Upgrading to VIP

Hello,

I have tried pressing the Upgrade to VIP at the top of the forum and all it says is.

Digital Forums does not have any paid subscriptions available to which you can subscribe

is this correct?

I did have a quick look.

I would like to become vip again as ive just realised I have lost it

Not at the moment, I don't deal with it so can't really help other than passing the info on and being aware there are issues holding it up.

Same here, I noticed a few weeks ago when I returned from 2 months abroad that my VIP had gone. But I couldn't re-subscribe using the "Upgrade to VIP" link.

Out of interest (not a moan), did I lose my VIP because I hadn't logged on for 2 months whilst away?

It shouldn't have been, VIP subs take care of themselves, when your 12 months expired it would automatically return you to a normal account. That's unless you were part of the recently discovered bug where you have had VIP for years without donating to the forum

I have had VIP for years (so the bug may well have been relevant to me), but I did donate many years ago.

The VIP status is an annual subscription so you got away with it for free for a long time There is quite a big thread about it but I can't seem to find it. BB explained how it happened in there.

Any update on this and donations? I remember using Nochex back in the day, I would be happy to soak up any costs (for my own transactions!!). I think it is 2.9% plus 20p to receive payments but free to send.

It's being looked into mate, it has been like this for a while as paypal have the power to just cut off whoever they like for whatever reasons they wish.

Hi,

I have just tried sending a PM to help another member out but I got a message saying that my PM storage was full. So, I deleted a couple of messages and tried again but got the same report.

I then noticed it says at the bottom something along the lines of "470 messages saved out of a maximum of 30 allowed" (or words to that effect), and I really don't want to delete all 470 messages if I can help it as I have about 10 years worth.

Is this because my VIP Status was removed? I have tried to re-instate VIP but I cannot donate as the link doesn't work. Can any of you help me sort it please.

I had the same but deleted all mine as i didnt need them - i only had 70 odd tho.
