iPhone 5 no service issue

Having recently left Giffgaff When I replaced my iPhone 4 with an iPhone 5 on Three.
I have been experiencing issues with no service which I attributed to three,but it seems that the problem is common on the iPhone 5 after checking Google !
Does anyone have any solutions to help resolve the signal dropping out ?
I have been soft resetting and putting into flight mode but this only resolves it temporarily !!

Have you tried backing up, entering DFU mode and restoring with latest stock iOS?

Take it a apple store , and get a new one , iv had a few and the signal on the 5 is just as bad as any iPhone.
try turn of the 3G . Then it uses EEs 2g network . Might be that the nearest 3 mast is quite far away ,hence the signal dropping out .

My mate lives a couple of houses from mine and his signal if fine plug ! Might have to go back to apple as I did as Evil suggested but without success :-(

Did you restore your backup to the device? Try restoring again and setting up as new and see if that helps?

Go into settings>carrier and turn off auto, wait for a few seconds and select your carrier from the list, I know this fixes the EE no LTE issue, maybe also try a new sim card from Three?

Try waiting for iOS7 to be released on the 18th, there will be a new carrier setting file with it, may also help?

Hi Scottio, yes I've tried all the options you suggested I'm taking it back to apple tomorrow fingers crossed !!

You won't have any problem with them swapping it out .
if they try to blame the service provider just say the wife has the same phone on the same network
and hers works fine .

Apple exchanged it for a shiny new one :-)
I'm beginning to think its three that's causing the problem as it still happens but not as frequently now !

Force it to 2g as I said b4 , I take it you will be conected to wifi at home so won't be an issue.
then enable when on the move , you must be in a dead spot for 3,s base station .
Set to auto it will all was seak the home network . Hence the no service as iPhones are piss poor at swooping from 2g EE to
Home 3G .
