I recently purchased a Toyota Yaris 1.0 VVT-I 5DR (10 Plate) off a 2nd hand Dealer and am very happy with it, although after driving a Grand Cherokee Jeep 4.7 v8, it does make me feel like Fred Flintstone and I need to peddle with feet as its so low to the ground and slow !
Well anyway If anyone on here owns a Toyota Yaris 1.0 VVT-I 5DR 10 plate could they please confirm the rear seat belt latches for me, the centre belt latch is on the wrong side, in other words it would be in the position where the nearside passenger would use ! it only come to light when my daughter and two of her friends were in the back buckling up and I had to swap them over so they were crossed at the seat, well as there very short it looks messy and don't look right. I've had a look in an earlier model, 03 Yaris and they are in what is the correct positions, i tried unbolting them and swapping them around but they have lugs on there and can't be swapped.
The 2nd hand car dealer tells me that they are supposed to be like that, due to legislation of seat width etc, so i would like to know if others are the same before I go back again to get it sorted ?
