Default Tvlink loft box for freeview

Hi. I have inherited a 4-way loft box and sky set up in a new house purchase.

However i just want a normal freeview set up. I was wondering if the tvlink loft box already there could be powered by a psu next to my tv and used as a normal amp/splitter or whether I need a new splitter in the loft? Does anyone know please?

I'm struggling to get any joy finding a signal at any of the points so far.

    Thanks!

Sorry guys. Obviously a school boy newbie error :/

I have viewed these forums for a while without joining up but didn't notice the 'newbie' code. I have posted in the new member section.

p.s. I don't have the manual, nor does the manufacturers website help me.

    Thanks to Rootfm

I have now found out the answer to my original post is...

no you can't use a tvlink loftbox for normal freeview splitting/boosting. For anyone that reads this in the future.
