I would say wooden/plastic beading.

Beading or coving. The top one looks like wood I think it's called quadrant, the other is plastic. Both can be bought from B&Q.

If its at the top it's coving
Down a bit it's picture rail
If its in the middle it's dado rail
At the bottom it's skirting

They are bath sealing strips on manky bathroom tiles.

Tip: I clean my grouting using an old empty bottle of mr muscle cleaner. I put two bottle tops of bleach in it and top up with cold water.. give it a good shake and then spray the tiles and grout. Leave it half hour and spray down with the shower.
