Sending Tweets with Python

All,

I have set up a new Twitter account that I want to queue a tweet a day up and automagically send.

I have used Python API's in the past and it was easy... So easy I think it was really insecure and therefore it has totally changed..

Today I have looked at a few Python API's but I cannot get any to work!! I have set up my account with all the Secret Keys etc... I am using Python 2.7 (I need 2.7 for other stuff).

Any suggestions on what else to use? Basically I will be using Automator on the Mac to send them from Calendar Alerts.

It's pretty cool. It might actually do what I want, although I still want to solve the python problem!! Cheers.

Yep, does exactly what I want it to

I now have my tweets lined up in a new Google calendar, I then use IFTTT to send the tweet in the description for that day at the specified time on the calendar entry.

Genius!
