I missed Eastbound and Down S4E01, I got it eventually but it had gone after a few days.. Fortunatley E03 for that came down last night too.

Yeah Fox are pretty good at getting it to the UK TV early. Previously you had to wait nearly a year for it to hit Channel 5!

I have the two compendiums, prob a 3rd out now?? I am about a 3rd through the first one which covered upto the end of Season 2 although the TV plot took a very different route... Been over a year since I last looked at them!!

Pretty decent episode. If you don't use Sickbeard already then why the fuck not?!! sickbeard or nzbdrone will make sure you get the latest episodes straight away before the takedowns And saves the manual process of finding, grabbing and filing.

I haven't had time to watch or check up on what's been going on for a few weeks now so was surprised

but nicely surprised, to see The Governor return in EP6 I watched last night

But hell is it getting depressing and tragic. I mean, probably more realistic (if that's plausible) if anything - the disease, the futility, the realisation that this gated utopia with a farm and crops is never going to work.
As I say, I watched EP6 last night and it was probably the most desperate of the whole series.

I hope The Governor hasn't turned into some pant-wetting tart now he's found himself a replacement daughter. I mean, I *get* that, but it makes for rubbish TV.
I hope he's not heading for the prison in a bid to find sanctuary for his new found family.
What I can see happening is him being somehow painfully torn from the girls - possibly with the involvement of Mendez, the kid getting some zombie love and him turning into an anguished mental case and running riot before Michonne saves the day and finally takes him out.

All that said, I haven't seen EP7 yet..

well my thoughts on episode 7

the governor, having killed mendez and the brother, has now found himself head of another group.... which has a tank! At least we know that from the comics, then end up smashing the tank through the fence at the prison, which i can see happening soon.

I can see him losing his new family, most likely being killed by ricks group in the assault on the prison, and the governor losing it, and getting killed himself. With the prison fence down, it will be over run and ricks group will have to move on...
