Bit gruesome. Had one under my gut few weeks back on the other side. It hurt for a few days and went. Now got another one other side. Fucking big lump behind it and sore as fuck.

Anyone any ideas what it is. it's just on my belt line.

Any ideas how to rid? I've stabbed it with a needle and squired copious amounts of RAID inside it. Not much happening to be honest!

Full blown AIDS or an inflamed lymph node perhaps.

Try putting some soap mixed with sugar covered by a plaster onto it. If it is a boil of some sort it will draw out any puss.
Looks to nasty to be an ingrown hair, but I wouldn't rule that out either.

Certainly something to keep an eye on and get to the docs if it gets worse!

Had one myself but mine was caused by my belt rubbing against my stomach.
Its deffo an ingrowing hair i used a scalpel and cut mine open and applied lots of antiseptic and pulled out the curled up hair.

Saying that do keep an eye on that just in case it's not.

Cheers mate, as I've had 2 previous ones on other sides I always thought I'd trapped skin in the belt or something. I do feel a lump behind it, which is possible the infection. I'm to much of a fanny to take a scalpel to it to be honest!!

done this too, its great fun. I do have a supply of sterile scalpel blades and 70% alco wipes (sting like fuck) but I felt better after extracting a huge curled up hair

defo a scalpel i get few on lower neck line, straight in with the scalpel then tweezers have a little dig, then pull the offending blighter out, job done bit of blood few days later all hunky dory

If you don't have a sterile scalpel I suggest a Stanley blade heated up over a flame before you use it then slice that bad bwoy open.
