Trusted website for skybox channel/frequency updates

Right gonna give this another bash today , what's best way to completely wipe the box and not remember any possible screwed settings ?

Also at big3card I only use my sly cable at min , unplug from sky box and onto the f5s so should be no issue there ?

I've just borrowed a Skybox F3 off my brother who hasn't got broadband in his new place yet, am I correct in thinking that I just need to upgrade the channels using the files on sboxupdates and then it will work as it should, or would I need to upgrade the firmware too? How can I tell what firmware it's currently running, and where's safe to get the latest version if needs be? Cheers!

just updated with a new channel list..

@broona, if the firmware is already on your f3 the channels should come on at least, you will need to update it to patch any missing channels

I've quickly plugged it in to test it this morning, all the FTA channels are watch-able, and the rest say scrambled, so I'll just update the channel list, cheers.

Hey,

My F5s has developed a unique problem recently.
If I power it up from cold, I goto a paid channel and I get it for a few mins. Then I lose it.. The workaround is to power off on the remote and back on. Once that is done it is all good.. Odd!

Funny that Squizza I boot from cold have scrambled for 20 mins then comes on and on all night so to speak,anybody any ideas ,,,,,also does anybody know who sells skybox v8 for Fta viewing of course thanx in advance.....................Ted

ok, I did not think it was used as much so yeah if you can help in any way that would be great, its the privacy that pushes the renewal up but is needed for obvious reasons.

how much space and traffic is it using ? sure someone here could host it for you and just redirect the domain ?

hi mobileman, its not about the hosting m8 as im my own host so it does not cost me any extra to host this one site, its the domain renewal fee and privacy. if I can get any help its appreciated
