Okay. Had it 2 days and broken it. Haven't even used it yet.
I went into the bios and reset to factory. Now I am stuck at the bootup screen on "TFTP Load". I am not a linux man. Any ideas on how I can fix it? Assuming I can.

Try this mate:
http://wiki.infomir.eu/doku.php/en:f...ngs_mag200_250
How to enter the BIOS setup (bootloader menu) MAG-200/250?
- Power off STB MAG200/250.
- Press and hold the Ğmenuğ on the remote (or the power button on the front panel).
- Without releasing the Ğmenuğ (or the power button on the front panel) Power on STB MAG200/250.
Change boot mode DHCP/NAND/NAND2
- Enter The BIOS.
- Select “Upgrade Menu” , right click on the remote control.
- Select “Boot Mode” and pressing the remote control right to set the boot mode DHCP, NAND or NAND2.
- Select “Exit & Save” and press on the remote control to the right.
- Confirm “OK”.
Change it to NAND mate as sounds like it's on DHCP now?
Yeah. I think that is exactly what needs to happen. But.... I can't get back into the bios. The remote trick won't do it and there is no power button.
You have to pull the cable mate - I had to do similar to flash mine from USB!
Are you still getting the tftp load bit?
Have a nosey at the bottom of this one mate:
http://wiki.infomir.eu/lib/exe/fetch...ev1.2_eng_.pdf
Scroll down to page 38 which covers the process you need to follow, and there's a link to download mcast.exe:
Actually that doesn't irk - trying to find it now

Here we go:
MCAST
Unzip that somewhere, and then download these two:
Bootstrap_250
imageupdate
You'll need to rename bootstrap_250 to just bootstrap, and stick them in the same folder as that mcast.exe, and then just follow the steps in that thing and it should sort it out mate
Doesn't seem to work. I think you still need to get into the bios to do it that way.
Oh dear.
Not really sure mate, you could post it and I could try and sort it for you?

Fixed it.....! Thank fuck.
Use the menu button instead of the power button in the situation I have described above, to get into BIOS.

Have you already started watching the filth again then
