Cheap mobile for nephew...

My folks are looking at getting my nephew a mobile phone. He is based in Italy so I'll need an unlocked or sim free one.

Ive been looking at a couple...

This is £50 from argos sim free, Sim Free Samsung Galaxy Y Mobile Phone - Silver

edit (£30 + £10 top up for CPW)

and this, £5 Samsung E1230 Mobile either on T-mobile or orange so will need unlocking.




So a couple of questions..

1) Does anyone have unlocking codes for the E1230?

2) Can the Samsung Galaxy Y be unlocked?

3) Any other options for not a lot of money (he is only 10), that will work in Italy (i need to get it before Tuesday night)?

I've been looking at the Moto G for my son. You can buy it sim free and unlocked for about £130. It looks like a very good phone for the money.
