    Hi
I am sure some members on here still like sky and your codes, just because some of us on here can remember things your employers did in the past that were very illegal and can prove it you shouldnt take it personally. I have no issue with you and know that you are a great member of this forum, I just think your employers are shitheads, however we all have to earn a living. I think it would be a bit unfair for you to take this personally and get annoyed by it, we all can have our own opinions and they are not always the same. I am sure many members on here love your employers.
    best wishes

if you give people a choice of paying £120 a month legit or £4.16p a month dodgy, I know what I would choose.
its the same with your pc stuff that another member kindly pointed out, you said you don't pay for any pc software. well I do, the ones that are worth the support will get my support:
I will always buy windows, its a lot less hassle, ill always buy a couple of good antivirus programs and ive also bought several other programs which I have made use of over the years.

the big cs advantage for me is you can use your genuine card in another receiver enabling you to record your programming unencrypted. Record it on skys box and you loose the ablity to play your recorded content back if you deside to downgrade your package. That sux
    hasta la yeah baby yeah!

Relationships and in particular marriage are a form of legalised prostitution.. you pay for it one way or the other.

The fact they didnt update a certain thompson box shows they got nervous because there was a method to dump it.
That suggests the new pairing method is only secure until some shows a way to dump the box and work out a way round it.
Sk posted how other providers (nagra) implemented it, this will be similiar and only the end for those that dont try.

I was trying to cancel my sky the other day and the first call the guy just hung up on me when I said no i definately want to cancel.
Thought maybe I got disconnected so called again and the second woman I said wanted to cancel cos it was too expensive and it didn't work properly, so she then said what can we do to fix it and I said it's an appartment so nothing without charging me so i'm not interested and she then started having a go at me over the phone because I wanted to cancel and then I got 'cut off' again.

Unbelievable. Sky is a joke, massive rip off and they basically force you to call them to cancel and then just abuse you to they don't lose their retention quota. Totally not ok. Always trying to charge for "services" like being able to record or HD when that should just be included as already very expensive. Don't get me wrong I hate BT also but both companies are very incompetent.

As netflix / lovefilm grow and internet speeds improve Sky is going to really start to struggle and I can't wait for that.

that really stinks pal, it pissed me off last time we gad sky and when we cancelled our lass could not view any recordings which is wrong imho.
if I were you I would ring them back up and instantly ask to speak to a uk call center, and a supervisor too. don't take no for an answer m8

Or even any big business spokesman the slightest bit loyal to it's employees, just giving two shits about them would be a start

If Sky hadn't Monopolised as much as they have, people wouldn't mind paying - if they had a choice of going elsewhere. In business, a healthy competition is good. But without this competition, Sky can charge whatever they want.. and do!

Sky have dominated the TV Supply industry in this country for years and Britons are sick and tired of not having any other choice. VirginMedia is about as close as it gets if you can get it in your area, but Sky hold them over a barrel as well.
I hate VirginMedia as much as I do Sky.
