actually I personally think that if a tv station has adverts it should be free like itv, those that don't can charge. nothing worse than watching a film xmas day and having 16 breaks for Ferrero roche and holidays in the sun.

LOL, the quality of the playing was certainly low, and jittery but the quality of the stream was excellent.

Yeah I tend to lean more towards the Anfield side of the park, can't be doing with the overly negative hating bitter shite from the other side lol. We lost today and I can still smile, they lose and it's the fucking end of the world (and entirely LFC's fault even if they weren't playing)

There are threads on DF somewhere regarding the streaming on Acestream

Not to mention all the Feminine Hygiene Products they keep advertising - really don't need to see adverts for them at any time but especially not at mealtimes

    Lol

I for one (Sky hat off) would not pay full price or would be able to if it was not free for me, if I ever finished with Sky the first thing that would go would be 99% of my package.

    I'll drop to basic.
    Keep fibre.

    And that would be it.

If your asking me if I think Sky is expensive yes it is but again it's a subscription service after all but people want the full package but not willing to pay for it, but willing to pay for it illegally.

If people think Sky is expensive try the robbing back stabbing energy companies and they are 100 times. Worse than Sky but people need electric and gas and can't in effect turn that off but they can with Sky as it's a luxury and not a necessity.

As for winding people up yes I do as it's interesting in reading peoples reactions and comments.

    Regards.

That would be terrible wouldnt it !!! Good job thats not you aye Realist

Tbh there's probably not much difference in the profit per household between the big 6 energy companies and Sky.

I wouldn't pay full price and when the current 50% discount runs out then either they extend it or I'll cancel again.

So, as I cannot afford the Sky packages that I want, Sky are getting exactly £0 per month from me.

...but, having bought a couple of faulty Openboxes/Skyboxes dirt cheap & repairing them for pennies, I now have the channels I want for around £5 per month.

So, Sky are still getting £0 per month from me, but I am now getting the channels I want at a fraction of the price.

So what difference does it make to Sky whether I have an Openbox or not? Either way, they still won't get any money from me.

well ffs, some thread this turned into. no being techy minded, but i must admit a lot that has been said is deffo true . i'm cancelling my $ly package ( partner redundant) purely to save money, been told my broadband will increase because i wont have a t.v package. $ly is a big company like any other. purely to make money, just like the "big energy" companies. you phone up to cancel/ get better deal ,then spend time trying to convince them you dont want your phone/ television or whatever from them. why, when i phone to cancel one product, they increase another. greed really. imo.
a really good thread by the way. detector....you get my vote

    Thanks to willieboy
