Played Need for Speed, FIFA and Killzone last night. All were impressive but I wasn't blown away. Console seemed a bit flakey, had to re-plug the HDMI twice because the sound went shit first time and no signal second time.

The pad is better but still not as good as 360 pad. I think they need to switch the location of the d-pad and the left stick and they'll be on to a winner.

One lad said he preferred it to the Xbox One he played on earlier in the week. Said the One felt rushed and not as complete as PS4... Some statement as PS4 fucked up twice lol

Biggest gripe for me so far ps+ voucher codes are not working. Seems it is a major eff up at sonys end with quite a few people complaining.

Nice system overall, i couldn't get on with the old dualshock but the new one is a big improvement, still not as good as the one's pad. Was playing Killzone the other night and using the touchpad to put your drone into different modes was really good so it will be interesting to see how developers integrate that later.

The one is always going to be my main console but Killzone just looked breathtaking, some of the detail was amazing but the same can be said for BF4 on the one. I like the ui on the ps4 as it doesn't have as many gimmicks as the one but both are equally slick once you get used to them. Looking forward to driveclub and a few others in the new year but pretty impressed with the hardware so far.

I much prefer the pad to the one's pad, I still can't believe how bad the d-pad is on the one, would have hoped they'd have fixed that since it was just as bad on the 360, have to keep playing KI with the stick as pad too bad.

Played need for speed on 360 last night, a lot less detail than the PS4 version. I was surprised how much better the PS4 version was. I didn't think there would be much difference but PS4 was far more vibrant and detailed. 360 version seemed very flat compared

meant to go on killzone today and get some of the sp done but put assassins creed on ended up sinking around 6 hours into that, was not expecting much after the last couple of games were shit but am really enjoying this one - the graphics in the town / city parts don't really seem to be that good / next gen but the bits where you are sailing and the storms and stuff are really very good

Played my first assassins creed game today with black flag on ps4 and gotta say I'm impressed. I've no idea how it compares to the other games but it sure is pretty on ps4. I like how you can sneak around or go in guns (well, swords) blazing, going to sink some serious hours into this.

Loving my PS4 after years on xbox360. Refused to get an xbone. Resogun is stunning as an arcade shooter, while BF4 does have some issues, its stunning. I made the correct choice with Sony.

I too am playing black flag and the graphics are a big leap thankfully .

Really enjoying my ps4 - never thought I'd say that about a playstation again as I really preferred my 360 over ps3 .

You can download china rising on the 17th when it's officially released only premium members get it now due to the fact they get access to dlc 2 weeks early.

Didn't you get a 14 day free trial with PS4 / 14 day trail for new psn+ members?

Guess you could sign up with a different email address / new account on PS4 to give it a try if you have had psn+ before? For me PSN+ is well worth the money for the free games you get as well as the online

Totally agree that psn plus is worth the money. You get a lot of decent free games as prezzy says - not just the mp access - something I've noticed ms have started doing for live .
