Advice Macbook Pro / TV Help

    Hi All

Seem to be having issues watching films purchased on iTunes via TV (Samsung) via Display Port Cable - keep getting the below message??

This movie can be played only on displays that support HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection).

Try moving the iTunes window to a different display. Make sure the entire window is on the supported display

Anyone got any ideas on what I can do to resolve this???

    Thanks

Daft question but does the TV support HDCP?

If not you could always get a box that strips it away.

Would of thought so it's a 42 or 46" Samsung Smart TV that I purchased earlier this year- will post model shortly.

All films bought via iTunes don't work but one I have bout via bluray and used the code seem to work

I have a Macbook Pro and have no problems playing HDCP content over HDMI to my LG or Panasonic screens. Are you using mirroring to get the MBP display on your TV?

i believe so I can see the screen on my tv and works fine as soon as I load a film (purchased via itunes) it comes up with the message originally posted - load any other film that i have purchased via blu-ray and downloaded using the digital copy it will work fine.

I'm thinking it would.. not a good result though as you already own an Apple device that should be able to play purchased apple media.
It's claimed if you right click and select SD it will work but that seems shit if you bought the HD version

That's ridiculous. Is it that the card is not HDCP enabled or something and there's no way to activate it? Seems like a big oversight for such an expensive piece of kit.
