How to log into the USA Netflix site in 3 easy steps

to login to the american netflix is simple
install firefox to ur pc, here: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/
then install the plugin here (open this page in firefox and install): https://mediahint.com/
then simply log into netflix via firefox and watch the difference

how it works is the plugin spoofs your dns to make it look
like you are using an American ip, so when you login to
Netflix via firefox it serves the American site to you I
been watching loads, it fucking ace
im looking on how to get it working on our tv too.

I did not want to piggyback anyone elses thread so I made a new one for the instructions, many thanks to maltloaf - im up and running and I think it great. now I just need to work out how to login using the wii-u

With the wii-u/ps3/ps4 you have to point the consoles DNS to the American equivalent. I'll post the ones I use when I'm home

Tried installing extension on my android chrome so i can use my chromecast to get it on big screen but no luck chrome mobile does not support extensions

Couple of stupid questions:

1) will this work if I have EN-UK version of Firefox installed
2) I assume that you just enable the plugin when you want to spoof IP correct?

2: when you install the plugin its activated all the time so you don't have to mess about

On YouTube search for ps3 US netflix and follow the most recent one that's what I did mate.

For any device just use either http://tunlr.net which is free or http://www.unblock-us.com which is a monthly subscription of a few quid.

Both run DNS servers which do all the magic and work on any device - you just change your DNS server to either of the above

just to let you all know, this method ALSO works for hulu.com which has thousands of videos/films and tv shows

for example:

install Firefox and the plugin then try watching this http://www.hulu.com/watch/67556

if it works you have everything set up correctly and can enjoy LOADS of free tv!!

I use hola plugin on chrome. I then get access to hulu, USA Netflix, cbs, Fox, etc. There all free with loads of content.
