    Default Tablet for christmas present

How would you load any apps on a tabllet so that it could be given as a present with something on it?

Would i log in with my own gmail to set it up and then set them up after christmas?

    Android?
Be careful. As far as I remember the account you register it with can't be removed without resetting it, even if you add another.

Thats why i was checking, thanks.

If thats the case, i might just get a list of a few apps that i think they might like and put it on a list for them and show them how to do it.

Yeah to change the gmail address requires a full wipe and reset on all android devices I've had.

    Thanks to flumperino

There's an easier way if you think setting one up first will help a lot - just create a new Gmail address that can be used just for that device. There's no reason why it has to be one specific Gmail address.
When I first got Android I hadn't a scooby why it insisted on an email address before it'd let you do anything, so I made a new one and it just exists for all our Android devices, and I keep my personal Gmail address separate.

    Thanks to Zoots

if you set them up with their own gmail addy just for the tablet you can add apps to it via the play store on your PC, if you are logged in with the same details on the PC too. You could send apps to it while its wrapped under the tree and as soon as its turned on and on an internet connection the apps would automatically start downloading.
