tethering on three

hi
having a problem with three contract moment im on 3's one plan and am getting internet speeds on phone up to 22mb ish which is great but as soon as i start tethering boom down to 1mb or below which is usless and doesn't seem to matter what connects to it laptop tablet console all down
and once i turn off tethering speed stays down to maybe next day.
I was told there be no throttling when i took out contract yet it seems there is, ive been to 3shop and they couldnt help only gave me a new sim and told me to try it (didnt help) and cs india is usless too.
Anyone any experience or apps that could help?

You sure your getting 22Mb on 3G, that's pretty fucking incredible if you are.
Those speeds aren't available yet and you'll be hard pushed to get 14Mb in a superb Three prime location once it is!

22Mb ish would be the approximate maximum your Wifi connection is capable of if you have one of the latest phones.
As for Tethering with Three, I've not had any of the problems you mention above when tethering and I do it all the time. Wifi Hotspot and direct USB into a Laptop.

its a htc sc lte phone and on 3 and can use it for dc-hspa which can get up to 42mb
i used Ookla speedtest app to check speeds

I've got to admit I get 24Mbps in the office in Sheffield too on that same plan - I'll try tethering later today to see what happens with my phone too mate

fastest speed ive had with 3 is on my 5s and that was 26.61Mbps. fastest on wifi was 42.08Mbps that was checking with ookla.

Have you used torrents while tethering? i believe they will throttle if they think it is being used to download by torrents.

Never had any problems myself.. last time i used it was in a hotel in Leeds not long ago and got over 18meg all weekend

no torrents did stream on ouya ps3 etc netflic navi x would they c navix as excessive downloads?
funny thing is i have a old tg-01 which has H so can only go at up2 7mb and it stays at steady 5-7mb
ok, does it do something different from the rest that could be emulated by a app? is stealth tethering still ok?

Tried it out and I get exactly the same speeds on the laptop tethered to the phone as with just the phone - that's on an iPhone 5s.

I've also tried Netflix and Youtube 1080p streams and at a push it was doing 2MB/sec which I think is awesome and there was no buffering so not sure what's going off with your connection there!

still up n down ;-( seems to reset after midnight ish so deff think its throttling waiting for 2nd level india support from three ;-(
