    Default G530

I am an old GPSUnderground user and haven't touched my TomTom G530 for ages and I noticed that the maps I have on my device are a bit outdated. I use the 9.05 maps. I recently saw the G5000 unit which looks really nice from an interface point. Is there any way to get the same interface on the g530 unit? I have to say my device is already pretty slow and generating a route can take several minutes until it is calculated. not sure if that is because the NavCore is buggy or old or what s going on.

Looking forward to some insight from the experts.

    Many thanks.

They are different versions of navcore on the G5000 - either v10, 11 or 12 which cannot be emulated with v9 navcore

that is a pity but I guess the old Go530 is showing it's age. Thanks a lot Russ. the biggest annoyance for me is when I touch a letter it always outputs two characters for some reason. Well, I will try the latest Navcore and see whats new. Probably not much.
