Help Any gas engineers in Norfolk?

Just had a quote off British gas to replace a combi boiler in our house. And its coming in at £3500! Amd that's with £400 off! Fuck that.

Any gas engineers on here in the Norfolk area who could come and give me a more sensible quote?

Missus is after a worchester boiler, and I preferably want some sort of wifi heating control system with it. Similar to the British gas Hive system.

Im nowhere near u m8, but for a guide I normally charge around £2000 for a combi swap,. depending on the size of boiler. I always use Worcester too. A room stat that has an ip for control with your phone etc is anout £180. So I rekon a price of around £2000 to £2500 would be a standard price.
TAR seems to be a decent bloke!

My parents needed quite a large boiler due to the number of bathrooms and bedrooms. Due to this it couldn't be a combi either. But they got quite a large Bosch for 2.5k fitted. British Gas wanted 4K.

If you look on the Gas Safe site, you can search for the closest registered Gas Engineer to your location. It's not the same as a recommendation, but you can pick one within walking distance. If you have a problem with him, you can knock on his door.

I'm a keen supporter of local trades people simply for the reason Geko makes and it supports the local economy too.

British Gas will take your £4k and just sub contract it out to your local Bob Gas & Son for £2.5k anyway!

They are tossers of the highest order and rob you blind, stay away from British Gas like the plague.
