    Default £5 - £500 Challenge

Anyone fancy joining this with me?

We start with £5. We bet on single outcomes, until we reach £500. We stay steady with most bets, but some slight more adventurous than others. Once we reach £500, we start all over again.

Looking to start this tomorrow, generally only one bet a day, but in some cases we may do two for an early game/late game. Doesn't have to be Football, just any good tips you think are worth it odds wise. Whilst we will bet on singles, we're always looking for odds that are over evens.

I'm going to start this tomorrow with £5 on Newcastle to beat West Ham @ 6/4. £5 to win £12.50

    Yeah I'm up for this.
Had a couple of wins this week after some tips in a Facebook group.

    Cheers, Matt.

I like the idea, but never seem to win so will follow this and stick a few bets on see how I get on!

Good stuff. I'm in on Newcastle bet this morning. Where possible sign up to a bookie who will give you a free bet.

I will post a few which I'm going to bet on.
Only really started doing it a few weeks ago after a mate put me on to it, he had a few good weeks so I thought I'd give it a to too.

OK guys, for Bet 1 I'm going for Newcastle win.

They've got a strong team and are on the back of a poor run, so are due a win.

West Ham as we know are in trouble, they've been scoring a goal a game and more, but have not won since November. Potentially a bad time for them to play Newcastle, even with Carrol coming back into the squad.

    Bet 1. £5 Newcastle Win @ 6/4 returns £12.50.

Good luck with what you go with guys!

    Thanks to BigBrand

Might have a go, just confirmed the odds are the same at my local.

It says west ham to win is 15/8 which would give return of £14.38

Obviously the idea is to get to £500, but am i right in thinking if i was to bet on both at £5 each, so £10 outlay, if either won i would be in profit although only 50% in the worst case scenario or am i missing something?

I have corals and ladbrokes near me, coral has it as 8/5 newcastle win @ £13:00, in this situation would i just go with the one thats giving the best odds?

Yes, unless it's a draw, then you're fucked.

I tend to do the smaller stuff online now and don't mine sticking with WH, but use Oddschecker website and they will show you the best odds for that game, and you use the bookie you have an account with.

At this stage it's small pot, but as soon as we're up to £300+ variance can be as much as £5-£8 in some cases if not more.

Good, only got 11/8 so will make up the deficit if we win.

Good start. Looking at the games tomorrow to find some decent value. I might look at corners market on this one.

    Bet 2. Espanyol @ EVNS £12.50 pot returns £25. KO is 9PM.

Espanyol are favourites going into the game after getting back to winning ways with a 4-2 win on the back of 3 loses in a row. Celta Vigo haven't won in 4 games, scoring only 3 goals in their last 5 games (with 2 in their last win 5 games ago!)

Espanyol are at home and have a full squad. So I've chosen this as my next bet.
