small update,
camshafts have arrived and after taking advice from an american RSV tuner (he built a road legal 200mph rsv and ran it at bonneville speed week)
due to the aggressive cam timing i have tig welded the lobes to stop them spinning on the camshaft at high revs - was a bit nervous arcing up on the first one but it seemed to go well
just need to get the pistons made then i can get the bores done to the pistons
oh, and going for 1103cc now instead of 1060cc and having the bores sleeved instead of bored and re-coated
hehehe, bores and pistons arrived today
they are absolutely awesome
just need to machine out a small section of the front cylinder head casting so i can fit it all together and im all set to build it all up.
have been busy spraying the frame and swing arm pearl black - ford panther
now looking out for a second hand power commander 5 unit and autotune AT-300 kit so i can tune as i ride.
this is going to be one very special bike!!
bike now back in bits, nothing wrong with it - just upgrading the upgrades

new 103mm sleeves from LA sleeves,
new carillo pistons,
marelli iwp189 shower injectors on 57mm throttle bodies
race ecu from ignijet.
totally open carbon airbox with huge pod airfilter
hope to get the cylinders back from engineers sometime next week and get the motor built up as soon as work allows - then its on my dyno to dial in the ECU
