Default quick snap of our commuter bikes

went out with wife today for a quick blast - ended up winding our way through as many B roads in herts and beds as we could find.
had a quick stop off in cardington and took this pic on my phoneIMG_1507.JPG

    Thanks to tiggerbiker

    sun was out today, woohooo

ran to the shed, pulled out the bikes, they both start up and I felt good.

one is out of mot and the others rear tyre is abysmal, I have no idea how I missed it.

bikes in shed, me in house for a full days sulkathon.

I will be in the nearest tyre place tues morning, that's for sure.

Why does "fat chance" and "slim chance" mean
    the same thing?

glad you had a nice day out though tigger, I will get my polishing rags and spanners out as well tomo and make them ready for this year.

here's hoping we get some fine weather so I can get out of the way of the rat race a few times a month.

going to try the wife on a 125 scooter this year..

    should be fun.

Not a "commuter" per se for me but this is my 2000 Honda VRF800 -

i was just looking through some old photo's and came across this one

it was taken in January 1987 next to the blue lagoon Belmont i remember it being bloody freezing
the lad you see was riding the CB 400n with a chair attached, it was gutless and scary as hell above 50mph
both bikes were mine at the time i think we were getting the 400n ready to sell, in the end i think i swapped it for a reliant robin
i remember the 350 valve was traded for a suzuki RG 250 which had been stan stevens tuned with the usual extras, if i can find a photo of it i wll post it
unfortunately back then i didn't take that many photos which was a crying shame i don't have many photos of my biking days

the lad in the photo still rides i gave up a long time ago

    2 Thanks given to cosmicma
