thanks m8, im using a rs232 cable on an old tower, ive ordered rs232-to-usb adaptor, if that dont work i'll be in touch, wife and bairns nagging me and im pissed off at myself, all i did was edit the channel numbers using DBS editior so they were the same as $ly, uploaded fine then it threw a hissy-fit, did a backup but i cant use the fecker lol
no worries, when you get the cable download my recovery kit and follow the guide

SUCCESS!
managed to get it done (thank fcuk!) only problem is i get a "no signal" on some channels so im guessing they have changes the frequency or something, dont really wanna updated the channel list as thats whats cuased this mess in the 1st place
yes m8 frequencies have change on 2/3 channels, should have a new channel list in next day or so.
and the channel lists are ok its when you start messing about with them. did you use the tools in my kit?
