A friend is after a satellite box. Thinking of a Solo 2.

Where's the best place to buy a legitimate box? Where's the best place to pickup a clone? Which is the best image to use?

Any alternatives? Amiko Alien 2?

He currently has an Openbox.

I got my Alien 1 from a place in Leicester and they do seem to do original boxes too. Not sure about prices compared to others though.
Their website is the infamous satstation (La*atronics) aka shatstation fwiw.

I recently bought a amiko alien triple tuner 2 sat tuners and a cable tuner . Haven't really tried the sat side all though the cable side is running like a dream . Would I recommend one not really unless your using it for Cable . On the sat side I couldn't get cross epg working after a full day of trying I gave up haven't put my Sat feed back into it and just using it as a cable box might try again when I'm bored . Plus side about them is the plugins there is millions of them I'm sure if i tried a different image it would cure all my problems but I couldn't be arsed looking for an image unless someone could recommend one . Vu is hard to whack mate just bare in mind about the pairing system you will be left with a expensive freeview box unless using euro sat.
