Help Acer aspire 5738z no power.

My daughters laptop has just stopped working with no sign of power.
no lights nothing just dead laptop.

the power brick works fine tried another one and tried existing on another laptop which works fine.
found a few pages online showing blown parts but after a quick inspection the board looks fine nothing broken or blown that's visible.

so I grabbed the good ol hair dryer and warmed the board all over and hey presto it all lit up and even booted up.

downside is as it rapidly cooled it went dead again.
anyone know what the going rate is to reflow the board on this.?

Stick it in the oven resting on some balls of tin foil at about 200 Celsius for 10 min, let it cool down in the oven.

Haha it's not a 360 that I want to destroy.
