I'll do that now thanks for the heads up Deja.
Installed now, will check tonight how the NowTV boxes respond, I'm thinking if I still have problems going back to Plex 2.6.6/
I had this prob when updated to Rarflex 3.2.4 .Going back to a 2.6 version.
For those in the DF plex server sharing group, my plex server will be off line for a fortnight as of tomorrow.
My VIP expired last week, so i can't post in that section nor can i PM deja as my mailbox quota is now exceeded.
Would be nice to see Rap back on the scence so i can get VIP back.
cheers

Hi
I am trying to resolve an issue with My friend (also a VIP on here) Andy's Plex server - his set up is as follows:
HP N54L running WHS 2011
8gig ram
250gig hard drive it came with, with OS on it.
3tb cheap drive with music on it
3tb wd red (new) with movies on
3tb red (new) with TV series on it
Software - Sabnzb, Couch Potato, NZBdrone (sonarr)
I recently added the two 3tb reds and changed the detination folder for movies and tv and also changed in Plex media server.
the problem (both before adding the new drives and after) is that despite putting the tv and the movies on the red drives correctly it also puts all the incomplete downloads in the incomplete folder on the small C drive and alll the complete ones in the complete download folder in the same place and fills the small C drive up frequently, what have I done wrong.
Also he seems to get lots of incomplete downloads that go to 100% the server out of retention error and filling up his incomplete forlder even faster.
I dont get either of these issues on my very similar setup..... ?
happy for anybody to point out ropey schoolboy error and point out what idiot I am.....
best wishes
LS
Dear Lord, please grant me the ability to punch people in the face over Standard TCP/IP
@LS
I have a similar setup but don't use CP - just SAB & NZBD.
Sounds like SAB doesn't know precisely where to put stuff. Check folders settings within SAB/CP and if you're using any scripts try and make sure they're not hard coded to the C Drive - or even relative to the SAB installation which I would assume is on the C Drive.
Not at home at the mo. I'll post a screengrab of my settings if nobody else comes up with anything between now and then.

In Couch make sure the category is set to movies (under downloaders-->category).
In Sab make sure you have a Movies category and set it to where you want to save the movies (config-->categories).
In Drone set the drone factory to your download folder(settings-->download settings-->drone factory). Also make sure all your paths are set to where you want the series to end up (Series-->Series editor-->path).

Ok Screengrabs exceed my attachment allowance so here goes with some cut'n'pastes:
Machine is set up with:
C:\ = win8.1pro. SAB running as a service reading c:\sabnzbd\sabnzbd.ini
D:\ = Empty 120Gb Drive. 1 folder \incomplete\
E:\= BD Rom
F:\ = 2Tb WD Green holding all data in \Films, \Music and \tv
Config:
Config File: c:\sabnzbd\sabnzbd.ini
Folders:
Default Base Folder: c:\sabnzbd
Location to store unprocessed downloads.
Can only be changed when queue is empty.
Auto-pause when free space is beneath this value.
In bytes, optionally follow with K,M,G,T. For example: "800M" or "8G"
Catagories:
(movies is a throwback to when I tried using couchpotato)
Use the "Groups / Indexer tags" column to map groups and tags to your categories.
Wildcards are supported. Use commas to seperate terms. Ending the path with an asterisk * will prevent creation of job folders.
Relative folders are based on: D:\

And there's more... C'n'P didn't work on this last bit
Sonarr Media Management:
Rename Episodes = Yes
Include Series Title = Yes
include Episode Title=No
include Quality = No
Include Spaces = No
Sonarr Download Clients page:
Completed Download Handling: Enabled=No
Drone Factory Options: Drone Factory = d:\
Hope this helps.
Brief overview of what happens:
Server wakes up @5am
Sonarr scans for latest releases overnight and sends anything found to SAB
SAB begins d\l putting stuff in d:\incomplete\
When d\l is finished SAB puts into its own folder based on the d\l name eg d:\Myshow\MyshowS01E01
Sonarr takes over. Renames and drops into the season folder under the show name on F:\tv\Myshow\Season 1\Myshow 1x01.mp4
Server shuts down @5:40
Server wakes backup @ 8pm ready for me to start watching stuff.
Plex Home Theatre picks up the new shows adds them to the home screen.
