    sad Mumble, groan and chunter

    Hi guys,

I see red bull are threatening to pull out of F1, due to the ever growing list of rules. I guess the straw is the latest fuel sensor.....

    climbing on to soap box.....

Now i've watched (most of the time live on telly) from the late eighties, and I can sympathise with them here.. ..rules rules rules, I want racing like senna/prost mansell/senna style of racing back.
Its getting BORING, and has been getting worse for years IMHO. Don't get me wrong, safety is important, but it feels like there's no real danger anymore, apart from driving at 200mph!

Throw the encyclopedia of rules on the frickin fire and get rid of everything electronically managed, and give them a gear stick and one of them old fashioned round things, what are they called? oh yeah steering wheel. Maybe get one them cannons from Takeshi's castle....sorry being childish. Lets see some real driving skills! Oh yeah it sounds shit now as well.

I'm gonna watch the Formula E now on ITV4 HD, until SKY wade in and have exclusive rights!

Totally agree, I don't watch it much now at all due to lack of any excitement.
If nature always takes the easiest route, what's easier...?
The creation of billions of galaxies each containing trillions of stars each with their own solar systems, some with planets that have evolved civilisations with billions of different life forms. OR The creation of just your imagination?

Some rules are required regarding safety but restricting the amount of fuel used is crazy. Its a race ffs. You are supposed to put your foot down which is obviously going to use more fuel. Either there is some valid point that we are missing here or the people who make the rules have lost touch with reality. Maybe they have inhaled too much exhaust fumes over the years and it's affected their thought processes. (">

They will have to find a circuit in the UK because there is no way that London will close any part for the time it takes to set up, run and then clear up a road race....
    Brands will suit me....

If you think F1 is bad then you should try and watch WRC, if you can find a TV channel that still shows it. Gone are the fire spitting group B cars, gone are the scooby's and the mitzy's. Even the drivers are as dull as dish water.

I´d see you there if it ever happens as I´m only 15 minutes drive away.

Trouble is they refuse to extend Brands and invest any Money.

Can´t see why Bernie can`t throw a few Million at it as he seems very apt at bunging millions to certain People.

Buy yourself free from a Charge of corruption by bunging another 25 Million Euros at them.

I'd love to see Brands pampered, many happy memories from when my mates used to race there in the early 70's and a few times since over the years. I love standing looking down over Druids while people overdo the entry. . . .
