360 with 3 Red Lights - Fans don't spin

Hi guys

I picked up a 360 phat a few months ago for my parents as they wanted to play GTA5
Just phoned me saying it shows 3 red lights and I got my Dad to find out the secondary code which is 0001
Fans don't spin at all, so they can't eject their game either.
Power supply shows amber at all times, never green or red.

The box only cost £28 so it's not a big deal, just wondering if replacing the power block would have a high chance of fix or if it's something more serious

It's a 203Watt power brick

Try a new power supply first ( Try a friends if you can)

0001 errors are a bitch to repair, has the box had signs of tampering? Repaired before etc?

Thanks guys I'll try and get a loan of one to test. If not, get my disc out and he's buying a refurbed slim

If you pull the facia of the disk tray , there's a small wheel that if you wind it (takes ages ) , it will let you retrieve the disk
