Out of the game a few years now but a mate has asked me if a IPhone 5 locked to Orange can be unlocked to other networks.

I did say yes call Orange but they charge £20 he said so..............

Can they be done any other way?

Force unlock will cost more than £20 and the modified sim solutions aren't worth messing with. Ultrasn0w hasn't been unlocking new basebands for ages now.
