If you don't mind I'd really appreciate it, we get most things on Netflix and Amazon but there is the occasional thing that's too recent or not covered we have to download.

Usually but not exclusively iptv is hosted or shared streams and/or channels

Plex is usually a private hosted media server but again can contain iptv streams etc

I think I need to give Plex a try. My sub runs out on my VU+ in a few weeks which has been pretty poor for £80. I have a Rasp pi2 so I'll get Plex working on that. If you can let me know the link mobileman I'll check it out. As you say £3 is nothing to lose!

Im subbed to a cracking plex server and pay £28 a year which gets me

4500 movies (90% HD)
Cinema releases updated daily
820 boxsets Netflix, prime and other channels, 32k episodes in total !
450 kids films
150 kids shows
9000 albums
800 adult
Bollywood movies

Since getting it i've stopped downloading all together as his service is spot on IMO for the money . I can only get members a sub if i vouch for them but happy to recommend you for those that been on here for say 5+ years and we've interacted

Which vu+ my sub runs spot on using mgcamd or Oscam and also I'm using dreamplex (Plex plugin) got them both running fine on a vu zero and duo2 [emoji106]🏼

im £60 but that runs out in jan. and is been rock stable, gonna have to look at this plex milarky though

3 servers here between £10-15 year each but all 3 them spot on as I have friends n family etc on them I have lines myself on them all .

Plex is great for recorded stuff (movie,boxsets,tv shows)
iptv I've still found nothing as easy/reasonable as CS for TV comparable against sly obviously in Virgin areas (which I'm not )you can get HD vm cable servers which probably gives you best both world when combined with CS

All the HD iptv stuff is below CS HD channels that are avail but marginally better than SD the number of times I've tried it and not as slick or cost effective

Wont be long though till its ahead I'd say 2016 might be that year
