    Default One Guide

Just got my self an Xbox One the other Week and also got myself on the dashboard preview program with One Guide working for the UK.

Hooked it up to my BT YouView box and everything is working great all channels are mapped correctly including the internet channels.
Voice control is kinda working, but will hopefully get better before final release.

If anyone wants in, add me to xbox and send me a quick message and then I'll send an invite

Got on the list also via an invite. I guess they are still recruiting, I still have the invite button on my xbone. I know sky HD, BT and virgin is working with the one guide.

Once invited it took a day or two for Microsoft to register me, then you download an Xbox registration app once that is registered it took another 48 hours to go live.

Slain : try again, just deleted all my sent messages as well.

    Thanks to chris71

I have a BT VIsion box but no ariel lol. Haven't tried it with my Dreambox yet but I'm guessing that's not going to work as half the channels seem to be untunable!!

How is it though? Good enough to use over the normal ones?

Not sure if it will work with the dreambox, it auto populates the guide / channel numbers and controls the stb via IR command, not any customisation to this that I can see.
The guide its self is pretty good, not many channels on screen at once is the main downside. Its faster than using the BT YouView guide but probably not as fast as the SKYHD guide from what I remember of using sky.

But using voice commands to pause, change channels etc is fairly neat, although a bit weird feeling..
The SmartGlass beta app for windows or android is also fairly neat as it also displays the guide and you can use that to change channels and it also includes a STB Remote control.
Another downside is you have to still resort to your old remote to access your planner or call up your old normal TV guide to set a recording etc

    Thanks to chris71

Yup - it works with my DM800 Dreambox. Just choose Dream Multimedia as the maker of the box. Works a treat The guide is better and faster than any that I've used on the Dreambox itself - although you cannot setup recording obviously
