Sketchy as the only "proof" we have is a forum post by a random guy called keyser666.
Have you got any link or evidence before you create a mass panic
All I can find is this:

EBay has asked users to change their passwords following a cyberattack that compromised one of its databases.
The US firm said the database was hacked between late February and early March, and had contained encrypted passwords and other non-financial data.
The auction site added that it had no evidence of there being unauthorised activity on its members' accounts.
However, it said that changing the passwords was "best practice and will help enhance security for eBay users".
A post on its corporate site said that cyber-attackers accessed the information after obtaining "a small number of employee log-in credentials", allowing them to access its systems - something it only became aware of a fortnight ago.
"The database... included eBay customers' name, encrypted password, email address, physical address, phone number and date of birth," it said.
"However, the database did not contain financial information or other confidential personal information.
"Extensive forensics subsequently identified the compromised eBay database, resulting in the company's announcement today."
The firm is also suggesting that any members who used the login details for other sites should also update them.
This only reminded me it I was due to change it anyway it's been years.
"That's why I fucked your bitch you fat mother fucker"
Fecking eBay I need a new way to manage my passwords. I had a system before but if I need to change my eBay one then .y system is fooked. How does everyone else manage their passwords? Not keen on a keypass as it only takes a virus with a keylogger on your PC and your doomed.

eBay and PayPal are a robbing bunch of twats and to leave it this late is a piss take.
Roboform for me syncs on all my devices and I use at least blowfish level encryption mercer yet been compromised unlike like others but for £15 a year for me it's invaluable as I have over 100 logins , only data I don't store is my bank data and that's in me noggin

You get 10 login version free to try so give it a bash , handy for bookmarks , ids form filling also etc
Last night mum texted me in a panic asking me to change her password cos my brother posted on facebook urging everyone to change password.
I took a look... ebay is definitely keeping more things a secret. There is more than been disclosed! But good measure to change passwords just to be safe.
