Default Good or Bad - Subaru Impreza WRX Estate?

    Hi guys,

im looking at a new car and i want an estate as i need the extra room (currently got a KA and not a huge fan, only had it due to the cheap insurance etc.)
now i have been looking at the Subaru Estates and i think they are quite nice, my friend has the none estate version and he hasnt had too many problems etc. with them and wanted to know what your thoughts on them were.

Basically ive been driving 4 years with 4 years no claims and im getting quotes at the lowest end of £650 a year for insurance

anyone got any advice or had one of these in the past?
You know he grew up as a little shitspark from the old shitflint and then he turned into a shitbonfire and driven by the winds of his monumental ignorance he turned into a raging shitfirestorm. If I get to be married to Barb I'll have total control of Sunnyvale and then I can unleash the shitnami tidal wave that will engulf Ricky and extinguish his shitflames forever. And with any luck he'll drown in the undershit of that wave. Shitwaves.

I had one back in 2002. It was a year old when I bought it, so never had any problems. I found it good fun to drive, but too ugly for me. I only had it for 18 months and sold it for 6.5k less than I bought it. Ouch.

Insurance was fine though. I was in my early 20s and paid £800 for the 300 bhp version.

Back then servicing was a bitch, £400 for a minor service.

    Thanks to Geko

I like them...We've just traded from a Honda Civic to an Astra estate for the extra room..#

Have also thought about getting an estate for myself too.

I've a Mitsubishi Evo, but the only Evo estate is the Evo 9 iirc, but that may be too much money, so have also looked at Scooby estates.

Can't think of another car that will give that space & performance for so little cash.

    Thanks to doughboy
