Xbox One - Game Sharing

if i did this with my brother would the games i purchased on my console (the one that he as his home one) be available for all to play? or just me?

Lets say you have 2 xbox one consoles between you and your brother. With gamertags named Brother1 and Brother2.

You put Brother2 gamertag on your xbox one as his home console and your profile Brother1 on as well (But not as home xbox one) and on your Brothers Xbox put your Profile on as the home xbox one (brother1) and also put his profile on (Brother2).

You buy Titanfall with Brother1 gamertag..... and both consoles get it and both profiles can play it.
Your brother buys Titanfall Season pass on Brother2..... and both consoles get it and both profiles can play it.

Games work, full titles and xbox live titles.
DLC and season passes also work.

All profiles on the home console will be able to play what ever the home profile has bought.

Do you have to be logged into your account to get new games? I have set mine on my friends but the games don't show as ready to install unless he's logged in as me?
Does he have to set his to mine as well for it to work properly? Or do you just have to login as the other account when downloading new games?

If his console is set as your home console then your games should be playable on his console by anyone.
You will only be able to play your games on your console if you are signed into live as you but if your console is set as his home console then any of his games will be playable by anyone on yours.

I don't know if it's been mentioned but xbox live gold will work the same way. My lads have never had gold but as i have it on my account they can use it because it's set to share on my home xbox (theirs).

The only thing that I have not managed to share it the taken King. Bungee don't support game share.

Ive shared taken king... I didnt buy it but my m8 did. Can still play it.

I shared the Taken king, it should just appear ready to install as once game sharing is set up you should never have to log into the other persons account again.

I game share with Bald Bouncer.
He is far more switched on than me in terms of grabbing the free games for gold.
Anything he grabs, or buys automatically downloads to my console.
this includes any and all dlc

Otherwise perhaps when he logs in it's his home as well so only shows his games?!

im in Ireland and I game share with a friend from usa I now have 50 games lol its brilliant if the both of you trust each other and buy alternately

Worked a treat as soon as he set his to be mine.

I think you can have multiple users set to have one xbox as their home and in that case it just looks at the home for the signed in user.

i was sharing with a guy from usa but now his wife got an xbox and he had to swap it to her account cause she was givin him earache so im now free to share ive got 20 games to share including forza 6 ultimate ed....star wars battlefront....wrc5....rory pga tour.....moto gp 15 ....f1 2015.....payday 2....gears of war ult and a few more.... if interested send me a message especially if you have the division

what do u mean free? u get free games from ms every month if you have a gold account but for game sharing you need purchased digital copies

On the xbox one smart glass app they list them first in the store. Or on the right of the dashboard home screen.

I bought the Division gold edition for £32 from Argentina. I share with my cousin so £16 for a game that was £80 on UK XBL.
