I went to Physio at the Hospital for 16 weeks and mine is much better now, various different exercises each week to build up the strength, weak traps were part of the issue, much better now. Like Blaggard says get a good physio because if you try various things to try and make it better you could in fact make it much worse.

    Thanks to chesser

I did 12 weeks of physio ( at home and hospital) and ended up having a steroid injection to calm the inflammation, still not 100% pain free but managing, some days are worse than others, it depends on the days jobs for me.

What is this, is it where you can really reach too far back/lack of mobility in you shoulder?

Its in the shoulder mate if you can imagine when your arm is in the wave position and it rocks back and forth that the most painful and raising arm straight up and back is a no no

They sometimes do, Tennis Elbow will often solve itself, the trouble with a 'frozen' joint is that the lack of mobility exacerbates the problem so much that movement just becomes more and more restricted. .

Just as a heads up for anyone having local anesthetic, some of the locals used can have issues with your heart so if you have pre existing heart problems let the dr know.

Had a steroid injection for tennis elbow few weeks back and that had lignocaine with it, so after first jab I felt nothing as the doc was moving needle in all directions to completely smother the tendon.
Painless really, but pretty sure it would have been painful without the lignocaine.

Asked the focus if he numbed it and he said why put needle in to numbed it as same as just putting needle in shoulder

suppose it depends where it it's going if it's painfull or not

The lignocane just lessened the feeling of pressure in the joint when he was pushing the plunger
