Yes but is this the Elephone Vowney which I believe was a pre release name for a handset of theirs ????? Not sure the Vowney or whatever it is now called had an option of Android Lollipop or Windows 10 (hence the release date) ! not sure

No this is different. The P9000 is a HD only screen, the Vowney a 2k. The Vowney has no pre order date yet.

I got the same email, had an updated P6000 for a little less but then had the P7000 for a lot more than the P8000!

Chased them up and they say I haven't paid, but the sent me an email on 15/06 saying payment received. Just checked and no money taken from my Paypal account. Will still order but might have missed the 1st wave

Guys wow, phone arrived today .. had to pay £13 customs charge so got the P8000 for £131 all in all, and well amazing build quality ... wife is amazed at it so much so , she wants one .. and she hates tech. Will use my Note 4 to take a few pics and stick up online guys .. Honestly anybody wanting a Note 3/4 type phone cant go wrong for the price ..

Nice - have to admit I'm tempted to pick a new one up to replace my 5S as I'm just not feeling the iOS 9 betas at all.

I quite like the UMI Iron as well which I don't think has been mentioned here.

Yes, its Lollipop 5.1 .... Havng a works Note 4, and this .. looks almost identical .... Had a little play tonight, as had to put little one to bed ... So will have a proper play and look around tomorrow, but taken a couple photos and a video .. have to say amazed at video .. pics need some work, but haven't played with settings ... Tried putting my O2 sim in from my phone and it worked straight away ... well ahd to turn on sim 2 which is a quick swipe, and made a call and loaded What's App, sorted ... Love the fact that it has dual-sim ... will sort PAYG sim tomorrow, as want to keep my main number linked to my works phone ...

Will take some photos and upload tomorrow when time allows, but again guys for £131 delivered its cracking, and yes I purchased it from GeekBuyer ..

Good stuff. One thing that concerns me though is the Photos.
You say the pics need some work and you are going to have to play with the settings. Let us know what you find because at the moment this is the main selling point for any new phone for me and the fact you have to mess with settings is putting me off.

I know phones should be phones, cameras should be cameras etc.. But with kids having a decent phone camera is essential.
