Is it possible to send a voice text to someone to make it look like it's came from someone else's mobile?

Pretty sure it is not possible with the kind of kit the average joe can get his hands on.
It is called spoofing, just incase there is some software out there.
Very strange!
This morning someone received a voice text on his land-line from me apparently. I haven't text anyone today!

If you google there are plenty of websites that offer this services.
If I can get access to someone's phone I can very easily do this by getting a verification text sent to their phone and putting the verification code into a SIP provider so they believe I am authorised to make phone calls/send sms using that caller ID. Obviously I would need their phone unlocked and unsupervised for approx. 5-10 mins to be able to do this.
Was it your voice in the message as that would be freaky? but yeah spoofing and re-routing massive at the moment :-(
If U send a text sms to a land line it reads it out. Robotically tho.

What's a voice text ?
You can spoof the senders number of text message. I use an API but there are several websites that offer to do this.

Well, not sure if this is still the case, but send an sms to ur land line. Phone will ring and some robot woman read out the sms.
used to work. I’ve not got a phone connected to a land line to check.
