Nice spec. I think the 3gb/16gb ram/rom version at £163 will do me just fine as I don't intend using it for games or running lots of appz. Same processor as the 4gb/32gb version so for what I need it there is unlikely to be any speed or other benefit in paying the extra £40. There is the 2k display but on a device that size am I going to notice the difference between that and 1080p? (">

you'll see the difference but in day to day use, it's probably more of a burden since it'll drain your battery. Theres really no need in anything above 1080p, on any screen in my opinion, let alone a 5" phone screen.

Same here. Still not made my mind up. I also want as close to stock as possible and real dual sim (not switching out SD card)
Just use enough water to cover your vegetables, the same goes for when you're having a bath....

One thing to consider is I currently have a 5" Elephone device. Regardless of whether you prefer elephone, ulefone e.t.c is personally 5" screen size is the limit for me I think . I can fit it into my jeans pocket and use as I would expect to use a mobile. Another half an inch and I'm not sure I could. My device does have a bit of a border though so I assume a 5.5" that screen goes right to very edge of device would be fine, but its worth thinking about.

Fine for women who will just chuck in the handbag but for a pocketable device it could be a factor.

    Just me tuppence .

The Oukitel U8 gets some really shitty reviews. Looks crap too imho

Have you ever met a woman that has answered her phone at the 1st ring?

I surprisingly get pretty good 4G/LTE round my way and it really is a massive difference over 3G. Fucking huge. It feels like comparing broadband to dialup again.

You say 4G isnt supported on your network??? Why?
I am on GiffGaff which is also O2 and as I said above 4G is very good. (Using Elephone P6000)

From what i've read piggzy 4g LTE on tesco runs on the 800 MHZ frequency and the phone supports 1800/2100MHz for 4g,,,,,,
What is the Elephone 6000 like m8, have you used any sat nav apps with it?

Same as the p8000 as it hasn't got a built in compass so if using google maps it's got no clue on what direction your facing

No I haven't. Been busy with other things. Going to have a look again this week to see what's available. Like a couple of others on here I think 5" is going to be my maximum screen for practicality. Anything bigger is likely to get damaged in my jeans pocket and I rarely wear a jacket. I wonder how far away fold out screens are? I think its only a matter of time. (">
