I've been tempted before but I just use a glyphosate mix with a pressure sprayer. I buy a litre or more which dilutes something like 50:1 and works well, the weed dies from the root up and blocks the hole that the seeds got into in the first place.

I have one, cool way to light a BBQ or burn maggots from a rotten mouse/mole corpse dragged home by the cat.

Can't remember ever using it weeds however!

It's like a smaller version of the propane felt torch I use for torch on felt, I have in the past used it on weeded paths/drives, but mine actually sounds like a jet engine in use and reduces weeds to ash in seconds
