I have my Plex all working well and have given my son and mate my plex pass login.
Is there a way to add them as separate users without them having to buy their own Plex pass?

Not sure how it works but I have plex on a NowTV box. In the settings I clicked on setup Then connect to my plex. It gives you a pin number. I gave this to the person whose server I was going to share and within seconds I was up and running
Just use enough water to cover your vegetables, the same goes for when you're having a bath....
I'm not at home just now so guessing mostly. When you log into plex click on servers. Then click edit sharing and scroll to the bottom (after the list of everyone you are sharing with). From there you can send an invite to any email address you wish. As long as they have plex installed they can then access what you have chosen to share. This means you don't need to share your login details.
Yep create them a separate account and share it, they would need plexpass to access plexpass features though, depends if they are going to use those features or not. I have about 12 accounts hooked in to my server that way and none have a plexpass and no one has asked for a feature that would need one yet.
Shame they don't do a family plexpass.
Cheers folks. I sussed it in the end. I did not know you can have a plex account without a plexpass, so as long as the account that is being shared is a plexpass account then it all works.
This guide helped loads.
